We have been hearing great things about your wonderful production of GUNMETAL BLUES all the way out here in Stratford, Ontario. We love the photos, everyone looks fantastic - we can almost imagine the performances. We wish we could be there to see you in the flesh. But we are there in spirit every night - and are wishing you the very best. Continue to knock 'em dead! keep on breaking those legs! Marion Adler and Scott Wentworth (and Craig Bohmler too of course - from down in Arizona!) Hey you guys! Comment on Greg Armstrong Morris Talks About His “Role of a Lifetime” by playhousetheatre /blog/artistic-managing-director/greg-armstrong-morris-talks-about-his-role-of-a-lifetime/comment-page-1/#comment-706 playhousetheatre Thu, 19 Jan 2012 23:42:24 +0000 /blog/?p=614#comment-706 Hi Sasha, Thank you very much for your thoughtful comments. It is really meaningful for us to hear audience feedback such as yours; it reminds us of why we work so hard to make great theatre happen. We agree that Greg Armstrong Morris and the cast of La Cage aux Folles did a wonderful job of capturing many people's hearts. Although the musical has been around for a while, it's good for us to be reminded that, "Life's not worth a damn, 'Til you can say, "Hey world, I am what I am." Cheers from all of us at the Playhouse! Hi Sasha,

I and some classmates from the Magee Mainstage went to see "La Cage Aux Folles" in early December and I LOVED IT! I was so so so so so completely blown away by Greg Armstrong Morris' talent in playing Albin. He performed incredibly and brought tears to my eyes. I was so impressed with his ability to play a gay man trying to act like a straight man. BRAVO! He is both a mentor and a great performer. I couldn't find any youtube videos that came close to approaching the power and captivation of his voice. Thanks so much for the incredible performance. Truly impressed, Sasha. We're so glad you enjoyed Tosca Cafe and took the time to tell us about it. It's very meaningful. We will check in with Robert de la Rose regarding the headpiece that Sabina Allemann's character wears. The Playhouse wishes you wellness and "a rebirth of wonder" (I Am Waiting, By Lawrence Ferlinghetti, poem read by Peter Anderson in Tosca Cafe) in this next stage of your life.
