Humpback and killer whales, dolphins, sea lions, Bald Eagles, and a countless variety of unique sea birds are all commonly seen within the fishing grounds of Langara Island. Moss-shrouded rainforests, rugged coastlines, expansive beaches, a remote lighthouse, and ancient Haida villages can also be explored by foot or helicopter.
As contestants in the Spring or September Salmon Showdown, you’ll also have a chance to win a return trip to Langara Fishing Lodge. The guests who catch the largest salmon before the first day of summer, or during the month of September, will each win a trip back to Langara the following season.
