Get Your Glam On was a tremendous success! Not only did we raise money for two great causes, we had a lot of fun too! Our hosts, Isolde N. Barron and Empress Kamelle Toe, were simply stunning in their pre-show performance. After an inspiring performance of La Cage aux Folles, everyone was invited to the Afterparty and Midnight Cabaret at The Junction in the West End where the “Les Cagelles” from La Cage performed some simply astonishing numbers. The Playhouse is partnering with the Dogwood Monarchist Society to bring our patrons a very special event during La Cage aux Folles. This special one-night-only benefit performance will include a pre-show reception featuring Drag Royalty from Vancouver, delicious appetizers, and a silent auction with proceeds benefitting both the Playhouse and QMUNITY, BC's leading queer resource centre.
